Maker's Notes:
Named after the Yahara River that passes by the shop, our chocolate uses Organic Valley milk powder for a Wisconsin milk chocolate. Look carefully on the wrapper to see some lurking catfish (Yahara means catfish in the native Ho-Chunk). Our milk chocolate is rich and creamy with strong chocolate flavor and half the sugar of grocery store milk chocolate.
This chocolate is used for our milk chocolate caramel hearts, milk chocolate butter toffee, and all of our chocolate animals.
Made in house by Yahara Chocolate & Tea in Stoughton, Wisconsin. All chocolate is tempered, poured, and wrapped by hand in our downtown shop.
