“Setting Sun” Da Hong Pao Oolong

Qing Xiang “Setting Sun”Rock Oolong Qing Xiang is one of many different varieties of Rock Oolong, Da Hong Pao, grown in Yu Wi, Yunnan.  This lightly roasted oolong is earthy, a little roasty, with deep fruit notes.  The aroma will bring out the roast, and the taste is earthy with an undertone of roasted orange peel.  Later steeps will bring out the characteristic mineral component that gives Rock Oolongs their name.
