Made in the orthodox style using two leaves and a bud, “Nandi Gold” is an impressive cultivar growing at over 6,500 feet in the Nandi Hills of Kenya. Only a few acres of this cultivar are currently planted. Intense. Uniquely floral & spicy in the nose, but heavy in its dark earthiness. A definitive mouthfeel lets the flavors of anise & juniper linger long afterwards. A rare style of Kenya tea.
