Saturday Gong Fu Tea Service

Gong Fu Tea Service
Imperial Grade Qimen
Black Tea, 2026
I like this tea cooler and steeped quickly. An intense aroma fills the room as soon as the water hits the leaves. The first steep is light, but still powerful and full of cream and fruit. Each steeping the tea gains strength with notes of butter and cream.
This tea can be pushed hotter and steeped longer for a thicker soup.
Tea: 5g
Water: 5oz., 195°

Maker Notes:
This Qimen (aka Keemun) is harvested in Huangshan county of Anhui. Qimen Black Tea (祁门红茶) is among the most famous black teas in China and has been consumed in the west for well over a hundred years. Its fame is well deserved, and is derived from the unique Huangshan Mao Feng varietal and ideal growing conditions unique to the Huangshan area of Anhui.
