Yahara 100% Unsweetened Cacao

Organic, Bejuco, Dominican Republic

The cacao is first roasted and then pre-ground in the Dominican Republic.  Yahara Chocolate breaks 55 pound blocks into small manageable chunks for your recipes. 

The cacao has a strong fruity aroma and tasting a small piece is fun (not puckeringly bad).  Your chocolate recipes will be immediately improved.

With only 1 ingredient, cacao, the quality is high enough for ceremonial cacao drinks as well is the amazing drinking chocolate with a little added sugar.

Drinking Chocolate Recipe:

  • 1/4 cup 100% Yahara cacao
  • 2 Tbl. Raw Panela cane sugar (adjust to taste)
  • dash (1/2 oz) boiling water
  • mix until smooth (mix, mix, mix)
  • slowly add 2-4 oz hot milk (or other liquid) while stirring
  • serve

    Packaged in 250g compostable bags.  Bring your own container or ask for larger quantities.
