Layered Iced Brown Sugar Tea Latte

An iced tea latte that you can impress your friends with because it's LAYERED! It's also sweet, refreshing and very easy to make!

Recipe

Ingredients:
• 2 teaspoons of your favorite bold black tea ( we love Breakfast Assam or English Breakfast for this recipe)
• 1 cup near boiling water (+ an additional 2 Tablespoons for the syrup)
• 1/3 cup cold oat milk (because there isn't much difference in sugar content between the tea and cow's milk the layers will be less clear than if you use a milk alternative like oat milk which has a higher sugar content making the layers have a clear separation)
• 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
• Ice
• a glass you can see through

Instructions:
• Steep your tea in 1 cup of near boiling water for 5 minutes and strain
• Let tea cool
• Combine your brown sugar and 2 Tablespoons hot water and stir to dissolve

Assembling:
• Pour the brown sugar syrup into a glass and add ice on top
• SLOWLY pour your milk over the ice avoiding the syrup, add more ice to the top of the milk
• SLOWLY pour your cool tea over the ice avoiding the milk.
• Take allll the pictures! The sugar content is what creates the layers, the bottom layer needs to be sweeter than the layer above it.
• Stir before enjoying!
